UNITED STATES—Americans all across the country admitted this week that they are already bored and miss the four years of constant drama that preceded the inauguration of President Joseph R. Biden. “I know I shouldn’t say this because Trump basically destroyed our democracy, but I lowkey kind of miss the drama… you feel?” said Los Angeles resident Kelly Halper, who clarified that while she was not fond of the 45th president, she yearns for the rush of his unpredictable nature and the entertaining media coverage he generated. “It’s so much quieter now and I don’t really like it. Maybe I’m just catty, but there was so much more tea when Trump was in office. It was kind of like a reality TV show and it was hella crazy. It made America more interesting.” At press time, Americans of every walk of life were complaining of having to follow news about legislation, which they claim is nowhere near as fun as watching their President stare directly into a solar eclipse, infect himself with a deadly virus, or get banned from social media.
