MID-CITY—Friends Jake Currant, Evan Hasting, and Drew Hurd, who are considered by numerous sources to be a group of laid-back fellas, announced this week their plans to keep on keeping on in spite of current events. “You know, with everything going on right now, it’s easy to get bummed out, but me and the guys are just going to keep on keeping on,” said Currant, waxing philosophical as his peers nodded, expressing concurrence with his profound musing as they sat on a couch in Hurd’s studio apartment sharing hits from their communal bong. “You know, sometimes things get so hard, like they are now, and you just feel like you can’t keep going. A lot of people don’t know this, and it’s something Evan, Drew, and I have learned through experience, but the best thing to do when you’re feeling down is to keep on keeping on. It’s never failed me.” At press time, dutifully adhering to Currant’s philosophy, the group was continuing to keep on keeping on.
