LOS FELIZ — In a Los Angeles County Department of Public Health press conference held today, Dr. Barbara Ferrer announced that the entire cast of Grey’s Anatomy would now be included in Tier 1 of vaccinations in the county. “We must prioritize all our doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers, whether real or fake, as we move through the deadliest surge of the COVID-19 pandemic so far in Los Angeles,” Dr. Ferrer explained, gesturing to the signed and framed photo of the cast of Grey’s Anatomy hanging on the wall behind the podium. “Dr. Grey and her team at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, based in Seattle and filmed in Los Feliz, have shown us time and time again the highs and lows of saving lives at a teaching hospital, while overcoming interpersonal problems at home and in the workplace. It is only right that we show our appreciation by including them in the highest tier, so they can continue their life saving efforts on our television screens.” At press time, discussions with the Board of Directors were underway on whether to also include the cast of the Grey’s Anatomy firefighter spinoff show, Station 19.
