MSNBC Assures Viewers Trump Will Live On In Their Hearts And Minds Forever

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Desperate to maintain the consistently high ratings the network enjoyed throughout Donald J. Trump’s presidency, MSNBC hosts have repeatedly assured their viewers that the outgoing president will live on in Americans’ hearts and minds for the rest of eternity, promising continued coverage of the minutiae of President Trump’s life after he leaves the White House in January. “Look, we know it may be tempting to let out a sigh of relief and finally feel at ease after these four long years, but we just want those watching at home to know that this president will never truly leave us, not even in death, so we at MSNBC will not be changing a thing about how we cover Mr. Trump after January 20,” said host Rachel Maddow, echoing similar statements made by other prominent anchors at the network, which features frequent criticism of the 45th president throughout the day and has seen a surge in viewership and revenue since his election. “Trump may leave the White House, but he will never be forgotten, neither by us and certainly not by you.” At press time, Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski were finishing a 2-hour live segment discussing Trump’s potential 2024 campaign in which they bemoaned the media for giving the president excessive coverage.
